Not going to lie, I’ve been getting a lot of mileage out of practicing my Tim Curry/Premier Cherdenko impression. Which is probably ironic considering I make a living writing about a collectable trading card game…. Moving on.
I’m a noted sucker for a bonus sheet, and we finally have one focused entirely on lands. Stellar Sights reprints some Magic’s most iconic lands, reimagined as planets and space stations. That’s far out, man.
Let’s take the scenic route through the galaxy and discover just what the Edge of Eternities Stellar Sights bonus sheet has to offer.
What Are the Stellar Sights Cards in Edge of Eternities?

Grove of the Burnwillows | Illustration by Aenami
Stellar Sights (EOS) is a bonus sheet found in Edge of Eternities boosters. Every card in the bonus sheet is a reprinted land from a previous Magic release. Unlike some other bonus sheets, Stellar Sights don’t appear in every Play booster of Edge of Eternities. Also unlike other bonus sheets, there are actually two different sets of art between the regular Stellar Sights prints and poster Stellar Sights prints.
How Many Stellar Sights Cards Are in EOE?
There are 45 individual cards that have been reprinted in the Stellar Sights bonus sheet. These cards also come in a special poster Stellar Sights print, and both versions are available in nonfoil, traditional foil, and galaxy foil treatments.

Are Stellar Sights Cards in Play Boosters? The EOE Draft Format?
Yes, but you won’t run into them as much as other bonus sheets. You can expect a Stellar Sights card in 1 in 8 Edge of Eternities Play boosters. You might not have a single Stellar Sights card in your Sealed pool, and you can expect around 3 Stellar Sights cards in an 8-player Draft pod.
- BATTLE FOR THE FATE OF A DYING STAR—Explore distant planets, wield dazzling magic, and wage war with alien factions
- BEST BOOSTERS FOR PLAYING WITH FRIENDS—Play Boosters are the best way to discover what Magic: The Gathering has to offer; they're perfect for building decks, playing Limited games with friends, and are tons of fun to open
- LAUNCH YOUR COSMIC COLLECTION—Each Play Booster contains 1–4 cards of rarity Rare or higher, including the possibility of Special Guest Mythic Rare from Magic’s history featuring new Borderless art
- SHINING FOIL IN EVERY PACK—Every booster also includes at least 1 shining Traditional Foil card of any rarity; in 20% of packs you’ll also find a Traditional Foil Land card
- PLAY BOOSTER BOX CONTENTS—30 Edge of Eternities Play Boosters, each containing 14 MTG cards and 1 Token
Where Can You Open Stellar Sights Cards?
You can expect to find nonfoil Stellar Sights cards in the wildcard slot of 12.5% of Edge of Eternities Play boosters, or one out of every eight. Foil Stellar Sights can appear in an EOE Play booster’s foil slot less than 2% of the time. You won’t find galaxy foils or poster Stellar Sights in Play boosters.
Since EOE Bundles contain nine Play boosters, you can expect to find roughly one Stellar Sights card in them.
- BATTLE FOR THE FATE OF A DYING STAR—Explore distant planets, wield dazzling magic, and wage war with alien factions
- LAUNCH YOUR COSMIC COLLECTION—Behold the wonders of the Sothera system with a Bundle full of out-of-this-world cards and play accessories

Edge of Eternities Collector boosters have a guaranteed Stellar Sights slot. Poster Stellar Sights appear in a third of EOE Collector boosters.
How Many Are in Each Pack?
Stellar Sights appear in about 1 of every 8 Edge of Eternities Play booster packs in the wildcard slot, and they appear in about 2% of packs in their foil slot.
Edge of Eternities Collector boosters contain 1 Stellar Sights card each.
What Are Galaxy Foils? What Are the Chances of Opening a Galaxy Foil Stellar Sights Card?
Galaxy foils are a special space-themed foil treatment first used in Unfinity that return in Edge of Eternities Collector boosters. The foil gives the card a speckling evocative of a sky full of stars and planets.
A galaxy foil Stellar Sights card appears in about 11% of Collector boosters. That breaks down to:
- 6% chance of a rare Stellar Sights card
- 1.5% chance of a mythic rare Stellar Sights card
- 3% chance of a rare poster Stellar Sights card
- Less than 1% chance of a mythic rare Stellar Sights card
- BATTLE FOR THE FATE OF A DYING STAR—Explore distant planets, wield dazzling magic, and wage war with alien factions
- LAUNCH YOUR COSMIC COLLECTION—Collector Boosters are the ultimate way to add unique and exclusive cards to your collection, with tons of foils, special card treatments, and more
- MAY CONTAIN GALAXY FOIL CARDS—Make your deck sparkle like starlight with 0–3 Galaxy Foil cards in each Edge of Eternities Collector Booster
- POWER IN RARITY—Collect some of the hardest-to-find cards with 5 cards of rarity Rare or higher in every pack
- COLLECTOR BOOSTER BOX CONTENTS—12 Edge of Eternities Collector Boosters, with 15 MTG cards in each pack
Will Stellar Sights Cards Be on Arena?

Yes! Notably, Stellar Sights cards don’t have a set symbol, but the EOS set symbol will be present on Arena when you sort your cards.
Are Stellar Sights Cards Standard Legal?
No, not all Stellar Sights cards are Standard legal. This bonus sheet doesn’t affect a card’s legality in any format, but there are a few Stellar Sights cards that are Standard legal as of the release of Edge of Eternities. Echoing Deeps and Sunken Citadel will rotate out of Standard when The Lost Caverns of Ixalan rotates out in 2027.
Plaza of Heroes is a near miss; it rotates out of Standard when Dominaria United rotates out, which occurs when Edge of Eternities releases.
The Most Valuable Stellar Sights Cards from Edge of Eternities
These prices were taken from TCGplayer on July 19th, 2025 and are subject to drastic changes over the next few days and weeks.
#5. Mutavault – $34.54
Two thoughts. First, TCGplayer’s market price on Mutavault is inflated, and it’s bound to come down in the weeks after Edge of Eternities releases. Second, some cards don’t even have a market price at the time of writing, which is why you don’t see something like Inventors' Fair in this slot instead.
Mutavault is one of many creature lands in this bonus sheet, and it’s the one that slots into the most decks, both because it’s colorless and because it animates into a shapeshifter.
#4. Strip Mine – $35
Banned in Legacy and restricted in Vintage, Strip Mine is pretty much only playable in Commander, Oathbreaker, and some other more custom formats. It’s extremely punishing when you pair it with effects that let you play lands from your graveyard and others that let you play multiple lands per turn, since you can use it to snipe your opponents’ peskiest utility lands or mess with their ability to access their colors.
#3. Mana Confluence – $48.81
Almost any Commander deck can use a second Command Tower, and Mana Confluence is just that, with a little bit of pain. Commanders like Betor, Ancestor's Voice that care about both lifegain and life loss love a high synergy land like this.
#2. Gemstone Caverns – $55.70
As a legendary land that behaves like a Leyline, Gemstone Caverns is another really strong land. You have to exile a card from your hand to get it down before the game even begins, but that’s marginal in a 100-card format. Your deck should have enough redundancy at higher power levels to compensate anyway.
#1. Ancient Tomb – $150
A cEDH staple, Ancient Tomb enters untapped and gives you 2 colorless mana for each activation. It might cost you 2 life, but that’s a trifle considering how much it can accelerate your game plan. It’s a Commander Game Changer, where it slots well into colorless decks, decks with commanders that have expensive activated abilities, or decks that turn life loss into profit.
Wrap Up

Golly gee, aren’t these Stellar Sights… out of this world?
They may appear less often than Enchanting Tales or Breaking News, but there’s value to be had in the Stellar Sights bonus sheet. The guaranteed slot in Collector boosters is your best bet to find your favorite spacey reskin, and these should be a nice surprise in Play boosters if you’re cracking them with that mindset. I’ve got to say, I was really hoping for a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx reprint, but I guess I’ll have to wait for Theros Remastered, if that’s ever a thing.
