Hello Planeswalkers! Do you have a favorite color combination or a specific color wedge? If you’re the survival-of-the-fittest kind of player, then it’s all about the Jund () color shard. Let your ferocity loose and crush opponents with your evolved tactics. To ensure your Jund victory, you’ll need the mana base to support your dreams of domination.

Lands and mana are crucial for any deck to achieve victory. The more colors you add to a deck, the harder it becomes to play cards on curve or respond to opponents. If you want to sacrifice the weak for power like Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, or swing fast with Madrush Cyclops, you’ll need the right Jund lands.

What Are Jund Lands in MTG?

Jund represents the color shard of green, red, and black. Jund represented the volcanic peaks and dense jungles on the plane of Alara. Now, all shards have been combined with the Conflux and New Phyrexian Invasion events.

This list looks at the lands that can produce all three colors, or search your deck for a basic land of each of the three colors. These lands are quite important in ensuring your mana base is effective and helps to mana-fix your decks.

We won’t be looking at dual lands that provide two of the three colors, or lands that can produce five colors, or fetch them like Fabled Passage. You will just have to tune in to a different article for the best of those cards.

#8. Koskun Keep

Koskun Keep

Koskun Keep is a Jund land from a time when there wasn’t much support for multicolored decks. It costs 1 mana to get red, and a crazy 2 mana if you need black or green mana. This card has cool and vintage art, but no need to roster this land.

#7. Jund Panorama

Jund Panorama

Jund Panorama is a last resort Jund fetch land that has value in Limited formats. The cost of 1 mana to fetch is just curve-busting, and doesn’t fit well into most Constructed decks. This land has some value in Commander when you can’t load up multiple copies of Savage Lands, but outside of that, move on from this one.

#6. Riveteers Overlook

Riveteers Overlook

Why not gain a bit of life when playing a land? Riveteers Overlook is a Jund fetch land that comes with a point of life when you sac it. This land works very well with land reclamation cards like Groundskeeper and Wrenn and Six.

#5. Twisted Landscape

Twisted Landscape

Twisted Landscape is our Jund fetch land with even more upside. You can sac this land to find the basic Jund land you need and also trigger some great landfall cards like Omnath, Locus of Rage. If a land isn’t needed, ditch this card for a draw by paying .

#4. Geothermal Crevice

Geothermal Crevice

Geothermal Crevice is a sacrifice Jund land to jump the curve. Many mana-fixing lands come in tapped or have alternative payments that slows down your early curve. This land can give you a nice boost to jump ahead of the curve and steal advantages. Sacrificing lands feels icky, but this one has great value when timed right.

#3. Darigaaz’s Caldera

Darigaaz's Caldera

Tri-lands are wonderful and essential to many 3-colored decks, but they often have a price for getting so much value. Darigaaz's Caldera requires you to return a non-lair land to play this tri-land. This may mess with your curve, but the mana fixing upside is always intriguing.

#2. Savage Lands

Savage Lands

Savage Lands is a perfect tri-land for securing your curve in the early game. This tri-land comes in tapped, but provides the three colors you need to succeed in your strategy. Whether it’s playing a multicolored card like Juri, Master of the Revue, or easing the difficulty of a hard cast like Bedevil, Savage Lands can help.

#1. Ziatora’s Proving Ground

Ziatora's Proving Ground

It’s obvious which tri-lands are always the best. Ziatora's Proving Ground gives you all the mana you need early to ensure you can ramp up your curve effectively. In the late game, when the land drop becomes burdensome, you can cycle it for a fresh card. There is minimal downside and huge upside for rostering this land in any Jund deck.
