Brace yourselves, the Secret Lairs are coming.
MTG went hog-wild with Secret Lairs in 2025, and we're getting started early this year with an entire Superdrop coming out in late January. We return to the Fallout franchise for the second time, with some repeats from the 2024 Commander decks, and a few mechanically exclusive cards as well. Yee-haw, or whatever they say in Fallout.
Secret Lair: Rad Superdrop
Get it? It's like radiation! The Rad Superdrop is a combination of four separate Fallout-themed Secret Lair drops, including one tied closely to the Amazon Prime series, so we can all finally realize our lifelong dream of having Walton Goggins on a Magic: The Gathering card. The four drops are as follows:
Secret Lair Fallout: Beyond Vault 33

- Lucy MacLean, Positively Armed
- The Ghoul, Gunslinger
- Maximus, Knight Apparent
- Pre-War Formalwear
- Spirit Mantle
- T-60 Power Armor (T-45 Power Armor)
Lucy MacLean, Positively Armed, The Ghoul, Gunslinger, and Maximus, Knight Apparent are all mechanically unique cards, exclusive to this Secret Lair drop for now. I'm not familiar enough with the source material to know if they're good adaptations of the characters, but they're covering some interesting themes, like zombies/mutants and energy counters.
There's also this weird thing going on where some original Fallout cards are getting reskinned as Fallout cards? It's kind of funny with the T-45 Power Armor reprint, but also super annoying.
Beyond Vault 33 will cost $39.99 for nonfoil versions, and $49.99 for foil versions. Also note that nonfoil versions of this drop will appear in WPN stores at a later date, and will even be available to purchase directly on Amazon down the line.
Secret Lair Fallout: Greet the Dog

- Dogmeat, Constant Companion (Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful)
- Arcane Signet
- Lightning Greaves
- Patchwork Banner
- Sol Ring
Here's the mandatory โwe're not really even tryingโ drop in the series. It became a bit of a joke last year that Secret Lair keeps pushing drops with some combination of Arcane Signet, Sol Ring, and Lightning Greaves, and it seems they're committed to the bit. This is basically โYoshimaru + other cardsโ, though maybe Dogmeat's cool enough that people will want this drop just to show the good boy off.
Greet the Dog will cost $29.99 for nonfoil versions and $39.99 for foil versions.
Secret Lair Fallout: Rad

Ew, he lays eggs? This drop seems to be themed around The Wise Mothman, so it includes a combination of mill cards and proliferate effects to pump out extra radiation counters.
Mindcrank, Mesmeric Orb, and Mutational Advantage have a combined market value of something like $35-50 right now, so this one's actually got some value to back it up.
The Rad drop will cost $29.99 for nonfoils and $39.99 for foil versions.
Secret Lair Fallout: Welcome to New Vegas

- Benny, Platinum Thief (Tinybones, Trinket Thief)
- Joshua Graham, Burned Man (Isshin, Two Heavens as One)
- Custom Caravan Deck (The Deck of Many Things)
- The Platinum Chip (Caged Sun)
- Sunset Sarsaparilla Machine (Nuka-Cola Vending Machine)
I don't know too much about Fallout, but I do know that people love New Vegas.
Rock solid Secret Lair in terms of reprint value, including the highly desireably Nuka-Cola Vending Machine, which can't really be reprinted anywhere outside of a product like this. That plus Tinybones make up the cost of the drop on their own, and the other cards hold a bit of value as well.
Welcome to New Vegas will cost $29.99 for nonfoil versions and $39.99 for foil versions.
Bonus Card and Other Info

A copy of Silver Shroud Costume will be included for every $149 spent through the Secret Lair website (while supplies last). This is another Fallout Commander deck card that's running a price just over $10, and it's pretty good too, so not too bad as far as throw-ins go.
This entire Secret Lair Superdrop is also promising news for fans of IPs that have already been covered by WotC. The Hobbit and Marvel Super Heroes this year were already proof that Magic was going to dip their toes in familiar IPs multiple times, but these Secret Lairs also show their willingness to do it in smaller quantities. I wouldn't be surprised to see us revisit sets like Final Fantasy and Avatar: The Last Airbender in Secret Lair form. You could easily imagine something like โFinal Fantasy Tacticsโ or โThe Legend of Korraโ as their own individual drops.
The Rad Superdrop begins on Monday, January 26, 2026. The Secret Lair website was known to get a bit messy for some of the more anticipated drops last year, so let's hope someone skipped out on Christmas vacation to tighten up that process a bit.
