How To Unlock Pizza Time Emote on MTG Arena

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hit Arena this past Tuesday, and it hid a wonderful emote among the debris scattered around the Arena background designed for the setโa bit of a mess, but what else can you expect from a bunch of teenagers? As pointed out by @MTGNerdGirl, thereโs a hidden emote concealed in the background.

When you queue into a game of TMT Limited, or randomly when playing other formats, you can get this Arena background. It has multiple interactive features, but weโre interested in the arcade machine in the top right corner, right above where your opponentโs pet appears and the stack shows up. The first step to obtaining the emote is clicking rapidly on the controls, circled here:

After you click about 10 times, a red GAME OVER screen flashes, with an image of Shredder:

But donโt let it fool you! The game is far from over. Keep clicking, and youโll eventually hit a YOU WIN screen:

It takes very little time to complete this mini-task; you can do it while your opponent takes their turn. After you win the arcade game, youโll get an email in your Arena inbox that lets you claim the emote:

If you donโt claim it right away, donโt worryโArena automatically clears your inbox and gives you any unclaimed rewards after about a week, so youโll end up with this emote either way:

How To Equip the Emote
Equipping emotes and other unlockables on Arena is pretty simple. First, click on the Profile tab at the top of the client:

This page contains a bunch of information, like your current Constructed and Limited ranks, your avatar, etc. Below your avatar is a list of additional tabs you can open; here, we want the emote tab:

Once there, youโll see this screen that includes stickers and phrases:

All you need to do is click Pizza Time! You can only have ten stickers set at a time, so you might need to remove one if you want to use this new sticker.
Arenaโs Second Interactive Reward
This Pizza Time emote isnโt the first reward Arena has offered players for interacting with the board. Avatar: the Last Airbender players were treated to a cabbage companion they received for completing a similar task: Destroying The Cabbage Merchantโs cart that appeared near their opponentโs avatar:

Lorwyn Eclipsed didnโt have any surprise cosmetics like this, so it might be a treat reserved for Universes Beyond sets. While two sets isnโt enough to mark a pattern, itโs a reason to keep an eye out for what might lurk around the edges of games played with future sets. Marvel Super Heroes will likelU+0079 receive the Through the Omenpaths treatment so it might not have anything, but Iโd bet a wildcard or two that The Hobbit board will have a pile of gold to riffle throughโor perhaps itโll be modeled after the Shire, and we can pilfer Bilboโs pantry like the dwarves.
