Although MTG Arena is technically free to play, you still need to grind for or buy the cards you want to play in your decks. Most of the gameplay revolves around a grind for resources. You get gold and gems to play Arena's Draft or Sealed events, or to buy packs. Or you can pay cash, and for that you need go to the Arena Store.
Daily deals are always nice, and today I talk about a good one you can't get every day: the Adventurer bundle. Ready? Let's dive right in!
What Is the Adventurer Bundle in MTGA?

The Adventurer bundle is a load of gems that comes with a couple of exclusive cosmetics that you can buy once per MTGA account. It can be purchased for $14.99 at the Arena Store and only with real-world money.
What Comes in an Adventurer Bundle?
The MTGA Adventurer bundle contains:
- 1 Adventurer avatar
- 3,500 gems
- 1 City of Brass card sleeve
Why Does the Adventurer Bundle Exist?
The Adventurer bundle exists as an introduction bundle in the MTGA store, especially for newer players.
You get some resources when you create your Arena account and complete the New Player Experience, including Arena's starter decks, some packs, and gold. Itโs not a lot, especially when you figure out Arena and whatโs needed to build a good Standard deck. Youโre somewhat incentivized to boost your collection by buying more product from the Store and the Adventurer Bundle stands out as a good starter bundle that offers good value compared to similar items.
Can You Buy More Than One Adventurer Bundle?
Sorry, you cannot buy more than one Adventurer Bundle. The Adventurer Bundle is a one-time purchase, meaning itโs limited to one per account.
Is the Adventurer Bundle Worth Buying?
Yes, the Arena Store's Adventurer Bundle is worth buying. If you consider that you can buy 3,400 gems for $20 in the Arena Store, then itโs clear that you get at least a $5-discount on the Adventurer bundle. You also get the cosmetic items, which may or may not be your cup of tea.

But the bundle is worth the price on gems alone. It also covers the gems needed to buy a Mastery Pass, which allows you to earn other bonuses and items including Draft tokens, more booster packs, ICRs, and lots of stylish goodies. The 3,500 gems is conveniently the entry to one Premier Draft and one Sealed event, but who am I to say how you should spend your gems?
Alternatives to Adventurer Bundles

Buy Codes at GrayVikingGames
GrayVikingGames is another site where you can buy codes to redeem items in MTG Arena. They also sell prerelease pack codes, and older boosters are much cheaper than newly released ones.
Buy Codes at MTGACodes
MTGACodes is a website that sells MTG Arena codes to redeem Arena products. You can find codes for prerelease packs, cosmetic items, decks, and (you guessed it!) bundles. The Adventurer bundle isnโt currently available, but who knows if that might change sometime in the future.
Should the Price for an Adventurer Bundle Be Lowered?
The price for the Adventurer Bundle doesn't really need to be lowered. As an F2P player, Iโd argue that MTGA should lower the prices on everything (โoh no, another Arena economy rantโ), but on the bright side, the price of the Adventurer bundle is still pretty good. Although WotC takes some measures to make the Arena economy better, most content creators that already spend lots of cash still have difficulties getting what they need for their decks.
Wrap Up

Thatโs all from me on the MTG Arena Adventurer bundle. The gems are my favorite way to pay for Arena drafts, and even if I never win a match, this gets me at least two entries. Bundles are a nice way to get more bang for your buck, and theyโre valuable for players who are just starting their Arena journey.
