This is a pretty sick deal. box contains 30 , which is plenty to support Limited gameplay for you and your friends—five Sealed decks, a full Draft pod plus prizes, or two Pick-Two drafts for four players, depending on your circumstances.

Of course, you could always crack open the packs and have a great time seeing what you pull. While you should never crack packs for pure value because you probably won’t see a good return, it is very fun. And there are MSH has expensive cards.

What Are The Most Valuable Cards in MSH?

Technically, the most valuable Marvel Super Hero cards can’t be opened in Play Boosters as the rarest pulls are exclusive to ; this includes the borderless The Mind Stone featuring Thanos and the classic comic cards, which stylize iconic Magic cards like classic comic book covers:

But worry not! Plenty of valuable cards and treatments remain. Like this beauty of a mana rock:

The Mind Stone

The Mind Stone has a TCGPlayer market price (the same price for all following cards) of $66, though listed prices are pushing $75. It is currently the most valuable card in the base set, likely due to the iconic status of the infinity stones and the ubiquity of an indestructible 2-mana rock with upside. I would expect TMS to remain the most valuable base card because that’s exactly what happened with The Soul Stone in Marvel’s Spider-Man, currently pushing $90. Expect that little price gap, too, since TSS’s harness ability is much stronger.

Another treatment with some fantastic cards are these borderless logo cards featuring heroes and villains with their comic logo in the background. These are generally the most valuable treatments you can open in MSH Play Boosters. At the moment, the most valuable of these are the transforming King T'Challa // Black Panther, Hope Enduring ($33), The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl ($32) and Doctor Doom ($31). Of these, I’d keep the closest eye on Squirrel Girl—she’s currently the second most popular MSH commander, behind only Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see her surpass him in the coming weeks. Note that being a logo card doesn’t guaranteed value; as often happens with showcase cards, price correlates with general interest, but you can expect these to be a little more valuable than the base printing.

Following up the borderless logo cards, the next treatment worth anything are the scene cards, which are designed to be placed together to form a scene. The smallest is a four-card scene with The Fantastic Four while the largest depicts 18 cards battling over a cosmic cube. The most valuable of these is that most popular commander, Bruce Banner, which actually depicts two different scenes between its front and back face. It’s sitting at $26, though Ultron, Artificial Malevolence isn’t far behind with an MP of $25—though currently listing show the robot around $30, so it might take over. King T’Challa pops up again, rounding out the top three with $19.

Another killer treatment are the showcase panel cards with art that’s a pastiche of comic book panels and a textbox stylized like comic narration. The big winner here is Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor at $20, with Cosmic Cube ($13) and Multiversal Incursion ($5) trailing waaay behind. Guess this treatment’s not it.

Of course, new cards aren’t the only value. The comic source material cards, which share the MAR code with Marvel’s Spider-Man, have some great value. Roaming Throne, reskinned as Doom Variant, tops the pack at $51 dollars, though I wouldn’t be surprised if runner-up Teferi's Protection, aka T’Challa’s Protection, breaks out of its $36 price—it is Commander’s best protection spell. Third place for Sword of Fire and Ice seems much more appropriate than reskinning it as a shield, of all things.
