Hello planeswalkers! Do you have a favorite color combination? Whether it’s the aggressive nature of the Mardu Horde or the calm tempest of the Jeskai Way, color shards and wedges provide huge upside and a ton of different strategies.
Lands and mana are crucial for any deck to achieve victory. The more colors you add to a deck, the harder it can be to play cards on curve or to respond to opponents. If your goal is to play some bomb Jeskai cards like Kykar, Wind's Fury or Jeskai Revelation, you’ll need the right lands and mana to do so.
Let’s take a brief look at the Jeskai color-wedge lands that can fortify these decks.
What Are Jeskai Lands in MTG?

Jeskai represents the color wedge of blue (), red (), and white (). For a bit of flavor, this color wedge focuses on isolated monasteries located near mountain lakes and is based on Shaolin monks.
Jeskai lands can produce all three colors or search your deck for a basic land of each of the three colors. This may be a small collection, but the Jeskai lands are important considerations if you plan to build a Jeskai deck.
We won’t look at dual lands that provide two of the three colors, lands that can produce the five colors, or fetch lands like Fabled Passage. Don't worry, we've got those all categorized elsewhere.
#3. Perilous Landscape
Perilous Landscape doesn’t function as the other Jeskai lands do, but it still provides the mana fixing you need for Jeskai decks. This fetch land helps you to search for one basic land in the Jeskai color wedge. Slot it in alongside other fetch lands, the many options of dual lands, and the triomes, and you should have all the mana fixing you need in a Jeskai deck. Just like Raugrin Triome, this land has cycling if you have no need for more lands.
#2. Mystic Monastery
Mystic Monastery is our no-frills Jeskai land. This tri-land provides all the Jeskai colors on a single land card. If you can get this out within the first 2-3 turns, you should have your Jeskai mana base established and ready to roll. As with all tri-lands, this land comes in tapped, but the mana fixing it provides is well worth the wait.
#1. Raugrin Triome
Raugrin Triome takes to number one spot of this very short list because it provides the Jeskai mana production you need and a way to use the land if the mana isn’t needed. The biggest difference between Raugrin Triome and Mystic Monastery is the cycling ability. This Jeskai land provides a great early play for establishing your mana base, and a way to draw a card if you have enough mana in the later game.

I’d say the biggest difference between the triome and the Mystic Monastery is that the triome is all three land types. At mid-to-high-level play, that makes a huge difference. Way more than the cycling ability is likely to.
Sure, writer may not have explicitly stated that but I think it’s clear to pretty much everyone that triome > generic tri-land in multiple ways.
