Magic can be an expensive hobby, especially with so many new products coming out. Itโ€™s always great to catch a deal, which is what Iโ€™m here with today: A handful of preorder deals for Marvel Super Heroes products on Amazon. Whether you want to bolster your collection or get into the game at a low investment, these are worth checking out!

Marvel Super Heroes Draft Night

name

MSRP: $119.99

Current Asking Price: $107.57 (10% off)

The Marvel Super Heroes Draft Night is a Limited in a box, designed for four players to play Pick-Two Draft. It comes with 12 Play Boosters (3 for each player), 10 tokens, 90 basic lands to build your deck with, and a bonus Collector Booster as a prize for the winner.

Pick-Two isnโ€™t my favorite form of draft but itโ€™s perfectly serviceable for a quick game night. Itโ€™s also much easier to get four players together than eight, so the Draft Night has merit. This could be a good pickup if you have a few friends interested in the game but unsure of how to start and donโ€™t want to hit up FNM as their first event. If you want to host a proper Draft, youโ€™d need two of theseโ€”at that point, itโ€™s probably better to purchase an MSH Booster Box.

Marvel Super Heroes Beginner Box

name

MSRP: $34.99

Current Asking Price: $24.44 (30% discount)

The Marvel Super Heroes Beginner Box is a small play experience designed for two players to learn the game. It includes two 20-card tutorial decksโ€”one featuring Captain America and the other Iron Manโ€”designed to be played against each other for a guided beginnerโ€™s game. After that, it has eight other 20-card half decks to shuffle into 40-card decks for a more advanced experience. In addition to the cards, it has a rules booklet, learn-to-play guides, spindown life counters, and playboards.

This product is best for absolutely new players with no prior knowledge or background in Magic. If youโ€™re coming from Marvel for Marvel, this could be ideal. Since you can mix and match the 20-card decks, you get plenty of mileage from the box without needing new product. If Magic ends up not being for you, youโ€™re only out a few bucks; if it is, then the MSH Beginner Box gives you foundational skills before seeking out a local game store and Commander nights.

Marvel Super Heroes Jumpstart Booster Box

name

MSRP: $167.76

Current Asking Price: $114.93 (31% discount)

The Marvel Super Heroes Jumpstart Booster Box has the highest discount, which is fantastic since itโ€™s probably the best product here. The Booster Box contains 24 MSH Jumpstart Boosters, which in turn contain 20 MSH cards centered around a certain theme. When you shuffle two together, you get a 40-card deck to play with.

The Draft Night is good for a few friends, and the Beginner Box perfect for, well, beginners, but the Jumpstart Booster Box meets a range of desires. You can still host a game night with a few friends and the cards are generally beginner-friendly, but thereโ€™s more variance and power in these packs, including exciting commanders like Iron Man, Bleeding Edge and Astonishing Spider-Man. Itโ€™s also an extremely flexible format; 24 boosters supports 2-12 players with ease, so you can have one big game night or a few smaller, more intimate ones. Of the discounted products, the Jumpstart Booster Box looks like the most promising.
