The price of Wilds of Eldraine Play Booster boxes have nearly doubled over the past year, owing to demand and the ending of the print run. While they were worth about $180 this time last year, they’re currently going for $320 or higher:

As the set fall out of print, prices naturally rises as the supply gets cut off. That means prices are unlikely to drop unless WOE gets an additional print run, which is pretty unlikely (though not impossible). Wilds of Eldraine came out in 2023, so it’s certainly due to be taken off the printers. While scarcity deserves most of the credit for the high price, it’s also worth noting that part of the price comes from high-value pulls, primarily on the Enchanting Tales bonus sheet. The following are some of the most valuable cards you can open in WOE Play Boosters. Note that this does not include confetti foils as those are exclusive to Collector Boosters.
Smothering Tithe (Anime Art) – $204.34

It should be no surprise that major Commander staples dominate the highest price points, though I am rather surprised to see Smothering Tithe above Rhystic Study—you’d typically expect the two cards to be inverted since the card draw is better than this ramp enchantment. But sometimes a stellar work of art matters more than playability.
It’s worth noting that the regular Enchanting Tales Tithe is still worth a pretty penny as well at $63 (which, more appropriately, is below Study; guess it really is the anime Enchanting Tales art).
Rhystic Study (Anime Art) – $160.80

What can be said of Rhystic Study that hasn’t been said before? This is one of the best multiplayer cards ever printed because it scales so well with the table. Little in Commander has a higher ceiling, especially for the low cost. This is such a dominant card that the cEDH meta revolves around casting Rhystic Study or copying your opponents’ Study. It is the best card in Commander.
Rather like Tithe, the base printing is also pretty valuable at $77.81, the most expensive base Enchanting Tales card. It’s also, in my opinion, the most fetching Rhystic Study art.
Agatha’s Soul Cauldron (Borderless) – $55.22

Agatha's Soul Cauldron’s borderless art is the only main set card to creep in among the Enchanting Tales cards (though the regular printing is also competitive at $42.81). Soul Cauldron has a stellar pedigree as a multi-format staple, in part because it’s so flexible. It’s a +1/+1 counter payoff, graveyard hate, a combo enabler…for 2 mana, it gets to wear many hats.
Parallel Lives (Anime Art) – $47.09

Token doublers are always in hot demand. They’re powerful and, even better for Commander, extremely flashy. Parallel Lives is one of the more iconic versions of the effect. WOE was its first proper reprint since Innistrad, though there was a Judge Promo. Its base printing is extremely close in price, just $8 less at $39.46—which is still more than enough to be a pull worth celebrating.
Doubling Season (Anime Art) – $43.10

Doubling Season is basically in the same boat as Parallel Lives: Expensive, iconic, powerful. It has even broader applications since it doubles counters, meaning it works in archetypes beyond tokens. Superfriends commanders especially love it since most planeswalkers can ultimate the turn they enter with doubled loyalty counters.
