With Secrets of Strixhavenโs main story behind us, itโs worth recapping the story events as we hurtle towards Reality Fracture. Iโve summarized each episode for anybody who hasnโt read the full thing or wants to catch up, though I heavily encourage reading the story; as always, K. Arsenault Rivera has done excellent work.
Episode 1: Penmanship Practice

Bogwater Lumaret | Illustration by Lie Setiwan
The first chapter reunites the students from Lorwyn Eclipsed, except Kirol, Sanar, Abigail, and Tam are second-years and Lluwen has enrolled.
The elves from other planes are harassing Lluwen, but he has high hopes for a trip to Titanโs Graveโa Golgari-aligned area where verdant life reclaims the of a dead colossusโwith Tam, even as he learns the supervising professor, Fel, has a reputation for being difficult. Lluwen experiences this after discovering a race called lumarets while hunting for objects to study, but Fel dismisses his discoveries as lumarets arenโt magical.
Episode 2: Travels and Travails

Lluwen reels from Felโs dismissal, and the bullying elves catch him; Lluwen attacks one and is swiftly reprimanded and given a tent separate from the other students, though Tam stays with him. Lluwen wants to impress Fel; while exploring, he falls through a hollow bone, discovering the Titanโs marrow is long gone.
He also discovers a group of archaics, a race of giants, behaving strangely around a snarl, which shouldnโt be in Titanโs Grave. But when he meets Fel, Lluwen says nothing, unsettled by both the professorโs attitude and his encounter.
Tam encourages him to try again, but he instead eavesdrops on a conversation between Fel and Oracle Jadzi, learning that Fel is a planeswalker. He tells Tam but, before they can go further, a giant archaic kidnaps Jadzi. They call their friends, and Kirol evades Ajani at his field trip.
Episode 3: Asunder

Abigail, Kirol, and Sanar find Titanโs Grave in an uproar following the attack. Ajani catches up to Kirol, but promises to help. They see a distant smoke signal from Lluwen and race to catch up, but get kidnapped.
The kidnappers are led by Chandra, who has formed an outcast school with the Shattered, a group of pyromancers who abandoned the Oriq. She questions Ajani, doubting whether she can trust him; she knows Jace survived the events of Tarkir: Dragonstorm because his psychic assault in Aetherdrift left a mental link. They argue; Ajani doesnโt believe her, while Chandra believes Jace is manipulating the archaics.
On cue, the giant archaic appears. Chandra tries to kill it, but Ajani tackles her. She only wounds the archaic, which lashes out, separating Chandra and Ajani from the Shattered and the Strixhaven students.
Episode 4: Something to Offer

The Strixhaven students are plunged deep underground and work with the Shattered to find an exit. Lluwen and Kirol scout a path; Lluwen discovers a friend in the lumarets while Kirol struggles to articulate their feelings towards Lluwen. Back at camp, Tam suffers from a headache and conflicting emotions over what to do in the current situation; she goes to find water. The pool she finds fails to clear her mind and shows a vision of a man in white. Before she tells the group, the scouts return.
Lluwen finally feels good as he leads the group out of the tunnels; the feeling fades as the party complains about the route, and he and Kirol come to blows. It turns out to be the work of a daemogoth, a demon that feeds on negative emotions. Fel appears at the perfect time to save Lluwen. Lluwen finally tells Fel about the archiacs he saw, and the group heads there.
Episode 5: Breaking Point

Oracle's Restoration | Illustration by Elliot Lang
This episode focuses on Ajani and Chandra navigating their relationship; Ajani is certain that Chandra needs his guidance, while she resents him for dismissing her.
They finally reach the giant archaic, and find Jadzi healing it near the unnatural snarl Lluwen found. Jadzi explains that the archaics are temporal beings connected to the oracles; theyโve been acting erratic because something threatens Arcaviosโs future, and thus their existence.
Chandra refuses to back down on killing the archaic, convinced itโs a part of Jaceโs ploy. When she finds an opening, she attacks the archaic, and battles Ajani once more.
Episode 6: Two, Three, Five, Seven

Together as One | Illustration by Nรฉstor Ossandรณn Leal
The final chapter returns to the clash between Ajani and Chandra as the not-snarl warps reality around them. The sounds and scents of battle attract the other students and Fel.
Ajani and Chandra end their fight, deciding to find a different way to deal with the archaic, just as the students arrive. Fel tries to calm the snarl, but the archaic subdues him. In the chaos, Tam pushes Jadzi into the unnatural snarl and leaps in after her. Lluwen organizes the others to calm the archaic, a feat accomplished with the aid of lumarets.
In the final scene, Tam emerges in an office in a place-that-isn't with Jadzi, uncertain about what she had done. The man in white appears beside her and comforts her, that this was the only thing that could happenโthough not confirmed in the text, the implication is clear: The man in white is Jace (what other mind mage has glowing tattoos?) and the office is Hexhaven, sending Magic's story spiraling towards Reality Fracture.
