About the Set: The Story

There isn’t one linear storyline to this set. Dominaria Remastered acts as a sort of catch-all for cards, characters, events, and planeswalkers that are important to the feel and history of the plane.

It’s likely we’ll see cards from Magic sets old and new, and it’ll end up being a fully draftable set that brings all these key players together once and for all. It’s also well-timed considering the Dominaria United storyline will be near its completion by this set’s release.

Speculation

Since Dominaria Remastered is a limited-run set featuring cards from all across Magic’s long history of sets, I can’t speculate too much on what mechanics or cards may be included. One thing I can speculate on with evidence is the prominence of cards with retro borders, especially for cards that were never printed with one. I’d also bet on seeing tons of new arts for classic cards.
