Hexhaven Invigorator | Illustration by Olivier Bernard
Spoilers for Reality Fracture have finally begun, and I can already safely say that we've seen the most busted green mythic from the set. If you thought Phyrexian Obliterator or Phyrexian Vindicator were scary cards, then I've got news for you, because Hexhaven Invigorator blows them out of the water.
Hexhaven Invigorator
Hexhaven Invigorator is an homage to Phyrexian Obliterator and Phyrexian Vindicator, costing four mana of the same color, having absolutely monstrous stats, and giving you an effect whenever it's dealt damage. However, Hexhaven Invigorator may just be the strongest of the three, as its ability to get lands out of your deck can put you extremely far ahead if you build your deck the right way. But how can you get the most out of this ability?
Combos
The first card that comes to mind when considering ways to abuse Hexhaven Invigorator is Blasphemous Act. Depending on how the board looks, you can clear it for as little as one mana, and then go and fetch thirteen lands out of your deck. Mind you, those lands can be whatever you want.
You could go get Maze's end and however many gates you need out of your deck, setting up a win on the very next turn. Alternatively you could search your library for Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle and twelve mountains. Since they all enter at the same time, they will all trigger the landfall ability on Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, dealing 36 total damage to whatever you want.
Additionally, Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle can fuel another combo with Hexhaven Invigorator if you're able to make it indestructible. If you do, dealing damage to it will let you get the Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle and some mountains, hopefully enough to trigger it, dealing 3 damage to any target, which you can point at the Hexhaven Invigorator, repeating this process and allowing you to put all of the lands from your deck into play, depending on how many mountains you have. However, if you control a Prismatic Omen or Dryad of the Ilysian Grove, this is guaranteed to work.
Synergy
As far as other ways to synergize with this card, pretty much every fight spell ever works great here. Commanders like Grothama, All-Devouring or Wayta, Trainer Prodigy are perfect for Hexhaven Invigorator, as they can fully leverage its ability.
Effects like Lure or Irresistible Prey that force a creature to be blocked are also good, as it's a great way to ensure your Hexhaven Invigorator will be taking damage.
Wrap Up

Ultimately, while I've listed a bunch of ways to better take advantage of Hexhaven Invigorator to get the most out of it for your deck, it's still a good enough card without any of it. You can put this card in a deck, and oftentimes it will just take damage without you having to do anything for it. Or it can just be a big efficient creature that your opponents are afraid to block and afraid to attack into. If it ever gets you any amount of lands, you've already gotten value out of this card, and so I think this will be a staple in heavy green decks in Commander going forward, as this card's floor is high and its ceiling is in the stratosphere.
