Nobody outside Wizards of the Coast knows when (or even if…) MTG will revisit the rainy, neon lights of Kamigawa – but WotC has just shared the details about Magic's return to our world's Neon Capitol: Las Vegas!
In what's also touted as “The largest MagicCon ever,” MagicCon: Las Vegas 2025 will once again take place in the Las Vegas Convention Center, running from June 20-22, and with an additional VIP day on June 19 for early access. Expect everything from a high-stakes Pro Tour with a $500,000 prize pool to more relaxed activities like family Magic sessions… and a Multiverse-themed Tavern!

When and Where Does MagicCon: Las Vegas Take Place?
MagicCon Las Vegas is scheduled for the weekend of June 20–22 (Fri-Sat), 2025, with an extra “First Look” access for VIP badge holders on Thursday, June 19.
It takes place in the Las Vegas Convention Center, located at 3150 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89109.
What Events Will Take Place at MagicCon: Las Vegas?
There's a TON of stuff going on, so if you want the nitty-gritty be sure to check the MagicCon Las Vegas website.
As just a partial overview, there's everything from the Final Fantasy Pro Tour featuring Booster Draft and Standard Constructed (with a $500,000 prize pool!), free areas, the Command Zone, and ticketed events like Chaos, Chaos, Chaos (a Rochester Draft) with LoadingReadyRun, or a Commander and Cocktails with Brian David-Marshall.

The Mana Stage is home to convention highlights including the Preview Panel on Friday, featuring Game Knights Live with hosts Jimmy Wong, Josh Lee Kwai, and special guests like The Professor. On Saturday we have Um, Actually with Ify Nwadiwe and Brian David Gilbert, alongside a Cosplay Contest. And on Sunday, June 22, we get a Pro Tour watch party, live on the big screen!
With the Art of Magic, you get to meet and mingle with your favorite illustrators…

… at Creator Central you get a chance to meet content creators like the hosts of ScryBabies and The Howling Salt Mine. And for VIP visitors, a brand-new venue: The Lost Tavern! Exclusively for Legendary VIP and Black Lotus VIP badge holders, MagicCon Las Vegas will introduce a Multiverse–themed Tavern offering bar access, entertainment, and relaxation.

How Much Does MagicCon: Las Vegas Cost?
Badge pricing is tiered to accommodate various preferences – Tickets, or badges, vary by type and duration.
Youth badges (for those aged 10-15) start at $20 for a single day, while adult options range from $35 for a single-day pass to $1,000 for the premium Black Lotus VIP, which includes exclusive perks like early show floor access. Kids 9 years old and under enter free with a paid adult guardian.
Early-bird sales start on March 20, 2025, and end on March 28, 2025, or while supplies last.

Exclusive Convention Secret Lair Promos
The convention will feature an on-site Official Show Store, which will sell merch including the Vegas-exclusive Secret Lair drop: A Devastation of Dragons. This Secret Lair will only be found at this event, and features the following cards (plus a possible unknown bonus card):
Additionally, for every $150 you spend in the Show Store, you'll receive a John Avon Swamp, the third of a set of exclusive MagicCon basic lands in this art style.
