MagicCon Amsterdam is upon us. We are finally getting our first real look at Reality Fracture, the final In-Universe set of 2026. Not only did we get news about that forthcoming set, but we also got a sneak peek at what's next for the Magic Multiverse in 2027.
The Fractured 5
We all know that Jace is one of the most powerful beings in the Magic multiverse. The namesake lore behind Reality Fracture is inspired by Jace taking his powers to new heights. Thusly, he breaks reality apart at the seams. This causes a new dimension to be be born, the Echoverse. Each

And here we have a new version of Jace himself. It seems a bit less oppressive than your average Jace, although drawing a card on each opponent's turn is very good.
Notably, this is the first time The Lorwyn 5, Magic's original planeswalkers, will appear in the story.

We've seen a white Ajani that flips into a red Ajani, but we've never seen a mono red Ajani.

We saw these during the MagicCon Vegas preview months ago, but the fiery Chandra gets two new variants as well.

Mono white Liliana leaked a long time ago as a part of a survey that select players received from Wizards. We could've never guessed that she'd be a creature, and we could've NEVER guessed that she'd be a legendary Soul Sister! This version of Liliana is decidedly not evil, which is a huge turn for the character.
These two work insanely well in Orzhov Reanimator decks.

Whoa…Garruk has The Chain Veil once again, and, WHOA. That's some pretty strong graveyard hate and card advantage on the mono black version.
Echoversing the Classics

TINYBONES IS NO LONGER TINY. He is Titan Bones now. He's also no longer a thief, he's a real upstanding citizen. Cool. Really interesting to see how these “Echoverse” versions synergize with their normal versions.
Hexhaven Debriefed
Hexhaven appears to be the mystery at the heart of Secrets of Strixhaven. Each school of Hexhaven is an ally color pair not represented in the original colleges of Strixhaven.

Fatehold is Azorius, Theorix is Dimir, Stingerquill is Rakdos, Konstrari is Gruul, Vigorbloom is Selesnya.

Fatehold is the opposite of Lorehold. Lorehold is about excavating the past, Fatehold is about predicting the future.
And, check that out, prepared is officially back!

Theorix is the school of “dark math.” Lots of arcane nonsense going on in the lore of it, but mechanically? Mill is nothing new for Dimir.

Whoa, an easily castable burn spell on a creature that automatically prepares itself? This is going to be nuts in Limited.

Primari gets Gruul as its Echoverse variant, which sort of makes sense. Prismari was all about big spells.
Heartwood tokens look pretty dang good.

Listen…Lifelink is much better in Limited than you think it is. Mixing aggro with lifegain seems like a great way to make Selesnya viable.

White Dark Confidant?! NEW WHITE CARD ADVANTAGE?!

Treasure decks just got a banger new finisher, although this feels a bit worse than Craterhoof Behemoth to me.
Wrap Up
I gotta say, Reality Fracture looks absolutely rad. It's like a greatest hits album of Magic's best moments with a ton of extraordinary twists. Honoring the Lorwyn 5 with some
I will say, the uncommons for the Hexhaven schools look awesome. Inexpensive and powerful prepare spells are so exciting.
Spoiler season is going to be a thrilling walk through memory lane this time around, folks.
