Magic Con Amsterdam is happening this coming weekend from July 17th – 19th, and there are going to be a ton of spoilers. Between spoilers from panels at Magic Con, as well as spoilers from elsewhere, we're going to be getting details about six different sets this week: Star Trek, Reality Fracture, The Hobbit, as well as announcements about the three upcoming in-universe sets in 2027, plus a bunch of Secret Lairs. This is your guide for when and where these spoilers are going to happen.

Star Trek

It's nearly time to boldly go where no one has gone before. Wizards of the Coast just announced on their social media that there will be a first look at the upcoming Star Trek set on July 14th at 10:00 AM Pacific Time on their twitch page. We've had these first look streams, and so we know a bit of what to expect. Most likely we will get a handful of cards as well as a look at the product line-up, including Commander precons.

First up is the Secret Lair Reveal-a-Thon, which will be held on July 17th from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM local time (GMT +2), so be aware of when that is for you. The description for this event on the Magic Con website reads: “Not all secrets are meant to stay secret. Join the Secret Lair team for a look at upcoming drops, first looks, artist spotlights, unexpected collaborations, and a few surprises you won't see coming”

The Preview Panel: Reality Fracture and the Future of the Magic Multiverse is the title of a panel being held on July 17th from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM local time. This will likely be the biggest reveal of Magic Con, as it will contain information about the upcoming year of all three in-universe magic sets, as well as information on Reality Fracture. “Reality Fracture is the end and the beginning—but what does that mean for the Magic Multiverse? Explore previews for Reality Fracture, and then get a sneak peek at the next story arc as we announce all three Magic Multiverse sets coming in 2027.”

There and Back Again – Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit Debut is the last of the big reveals we'll be getting at Magic Con. This event is going to be held on July 18th from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM local time, and it's likely going to have the most individual cards revealed of any of these events, as The Hobbit is the next set that is slated to come out this year and these debut streams always contain lots of cards to kick off spoiler season for the set. “Begin an unexpected journey back to Middle-earth in the Magic: The Gathering | The Hobbit Debut! Our panelists take you there and back again in this celebration of the upcoming set. From the comfort of Bag End to the halls of Erebor, discover how Bilbo’s adventure, the Company of Dwarves, and the wonders of Middle-earth are brought to life through cards, mechanics, and art.”

San Diego Comic Con is also being held this month from July 23rd – 26th, and although it seems like there aren't any big plans to announce anything from Wizards of the Coast at ComicCon, Mark Rosewater, head designer of Magic: the Gathering, will be having a panel at the event. As for what it will entail, we don't know, but since only the in-universe sets are being announced at MagicCon Amsterdam, there would be room to announce all of the Universes Beyond sets at San Diego Comic Con. However, this is just speculation, and we really don't know when and where the Universes Beyond sets for 2027 will be announced.
