Festival in a Box are meant to be a way of enjoying the exclusive products of conventions without having to make the trek yourself: a โ€˜cure' for FOMO. They contain cool promos, packs, merch, and more, but the latest drop didn't go so smoothly.

Festival in a Box: Atlanta 2025 had a myriad of technical issues which resulted in many players failing to purchase a box, despite being ready at the advertised sale time. In order to get their hands on a box, they had to work through internal server errors, entry queues that didn't work or that reset, and such high demand that the entire supply sold out within an hour across EU and the US.

What's in the Latest Festival in a Box?

The latest festival in a box for Atlanta 2025 contains:

That's nearly $500 in value for a box that sells for less than half that. You can actually sell the Mystery Booster 2 booster box, make your money back from buying the package, and then keep the promos and be up nearly $200 in value.

We're not the only ones that did that math, though. Scalpers realized this too, and thanks to them, the only way to get your hands on a box now is to go through eBay where you won't get your hands on one for less than $350. A quick profit for them.

Actually Cool Promos

For once, this bundle comes with amazing promos that are not only unique and beautiful, but also exclusive and expensive.

The Ur-Dragon is the jewel of the box. Presale is around $90, and it's expected to remain there. It's the most popular Dragon commander, the only way to get this future shifted frame, and it's foil.

The Lightning bolt and Scourge of Valkas aren't to be overlooked, either. Both go for about $30, and similarly, this is the only printing of Lightning Bolt with the future shifted frame.

The secret lair's retail price is $49.99, but the included Sliver Legion is $75, and the Shared Summons sits around $14, adding another ~$90 to the pool.

If you were able to get your hands on this box for MSRP, congrats on your insane value, even if you open the MB2 booster box. And if you're able to pick one up for ~$300 or less, you're not missing out at all.

I know all about their server errors. When FF Secret lair dropped I was able to put all the foil sets in my cart, I waited 7hrs in que. When I was able to pay, I went to pay page and then it gives me internal server error and drops me.
