MagicCon Las Vegas is the biggest Magic event of the year, and what better way to celebrate that then to show off a bunch of new stuff coming up later this year. Sorry for those of you who want to relish Secrets of Strixhaven a little bit longer, but the sets aren't stopping any time soon.

Here's everything we saw at the Friday Preview Panel from Marvel Super Heroes, The Hobbit, and Reality Fracture.

Marvel Super Heroes (June 2026)

Marvel Super Heroes logo

Marvel Super Heroes is the next set in line, and has a significantly larger scope than anything we've seen from MTG's Marvel crossovers yet.

Our first MSH spoiler is Vision, Synthezoid Avenger, who shows up in one of the Commander precons for the set. Nice use of phasing!

And if you're looking to play The Vision in Standard/Draft, this is the version you'll be playing with.

Our second Infinity Stone is The Mind Stone, not to be confused with Mind Stone. It follows up The Soul Stone as a similar white mana rock. It's also the Headliner of the set, obivously.

The Hobbit (August 2026)

The Hobbit Announcement

The Hobbit marks our return to Middle-Earth after the wildly successful Lord of the Rings set.

Adventure's back, baby! We've also got confirmation of some dwarves and dwarf payoffs.

Trolls, too. Not the internet kind, either, more like the eat your friends kind. Tom, Bert, and William give us a legendary Golgari troll creature.

It's not quite The One Ring, but My Precious is also not not The One Ring. It's showing off a โ€œDragon Hordeโ€ frame as well on the alternate art.

Love a good divvy card. Riddles in the Dark is giving some great Fact or Fiction vibes.

Wood Elves makes a return in Standard. Makes total sense for the context of the set. There's a Standard Showdown version as well.

Bilbo's back (obviously), and will appear across multiple rarities. Bilbo, Luckwearer is the uncommon version.

Speaking of which, here's the mythic Bilbo! Big lol at โ€œThief in the Nightโ€ here.

Magnificent indeed! Smaug makes his debut on a real Magic card (not a token) as Smaug the Magnificent. And he's appropriately Treasure-focused. Smaug will show up across multiple rarities as well. Check out that gold Headliner version, too!

No way The Arkenstone wasn't going to get a big flashy mythic in this set. It's another half-adventure, half-artifact, and comes with a โ€œBook Coverโ€ alternate treatment.

Thorin's here as an equipment commander with an alternate Book Frame as well.

They full-art basics from the set were revealed, dubbed the Middle-earth Journey lands.

And the seasonal land treatment from Bloomburrow returns on these Plains.

If you can't read Dwarven, don't worry, we've got you. This is an Arcane Signet, and this along with other dwarven-language cards will show up in Collector Boosters

We've got box toppers, too. You might've heard of this one: The One Ring! Tom Bombadil and Sauron, the Dark Lord are here, too.

Reality Fracture (October 2026)

Reality Fracture is the final in-Universe set of the year. It's pretty grandiose in scope, featuring twists on classic characters and cards from Magic's history. We'll be entering the โ€œEchoverseโ€, and we've got all the Jace Beleren shenanigans we've been expecting.

And look, there he is! Jace, the Theorist is the engineer of everything happening in this set.

We saw a Chandra, Torch of Defiance leak a couple weeks ago, but here it is, made official. And it's coupled with Chandra, Chill of Compliance. Every pack of Reality Shift will have a pair of characters representing that normal character and their mirrored version.

Garruk's back, another thing that we sort of knew was going to happen due to some advertising for MagicCon Vegas. His axe will be showing up in this set too.

If you didn't already know, Tam from Lorwyn Eclipsed/Secrets of Strixhaven is a sort of undercover agent created by Jace. Spoiler alert, maybe? Tam's card wasn't revealed, but Mark Rosewater claims their card will have a pretty wild new mechanic.

We've got the headliner of the set! Bloodline Recollector is the โ€œWhat Ifโ€ version of Emeritus of Ideation, using prepared from SOS to create a black version of Ancestral Recall.

The โ€œHexhavenโ€ color pairs were revealed, which are mirrors of the Strixhaven schools.

If you missed the leaks from a week ago, you probably missed Stingcaster Mage, the red Snapcaster Mage.

One final art piece to close out Reality Shift previews. The Lorwyn Five (plus Vraska) show up on Face Yourself, though the card wasn't previewed.

So what's it gonna be? Which of these sets are skips for you so far, and which ones are you actively excited about. How about Star Trek to cap off the year?
