If you’ve been thinking about picking up one of the The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Commander precons, Amazon has a pretty solid sale window open right now. You can get any of the individual LotR precons for 20%-25% less than a month ago, and there's also a deep discount for No products found., which was listed at around $240 at the time of writing.
These precons have been trending down over the past month. MTGStocks currently shows monthly average-price declines of 24.5% for The Hosts of Mordor, 19.9% for Riders of Rohan, 25.7% for Elven Council, and 23.4% for Food and Fellowship. So while none of these are exactly bulk-bin finds, they are noticeably cheaper than they were a few weeks ago. And these Amazon offers come with a Collector Booster!
The Hosts of Mordor
The Hosts of Mordor Commander precon is still the priciest of the bunch at around $92. Still, it has dropped sharply over the past month, with MTGStocks showing it down 24.5% over that span.
That at least makes the Grixis deck led by Sauron, Lord of the Rings feel a little less intimidating for players who wanted the flashiest villain deck of the set but didn’t want to pay peak sealed prices.

Riders of Rohan
Riders of Rohan was listed at $57.00 on Amazon at the time of writing, making it one of the more approachable options in the lineup.
MTGStocks shows it down nearly 20% over the last month, so while the slide hasn’t been as steep as some of the others, it’s still clearly cheaper than it was recently. If you like aggressive go-wide strategies, this Jeskai deck built around Éowyn, Shieldmaiden is in a much friendlier range than it was not long ago.

Food and Fellowship
Food and Fellowship was listed at around $59, which puts it close to Riders of Rohan on Amazon even though it had been sitting noticeably highernot that long ago. MTGStocks has this one down 23.4% over the last month.
That makes this Abzan deck, led by Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant, look like a much easier pickup for players who liked the deck’s theme but were waiting for the sealed price to calm down.
Elven Council
Last but not least, the Elven Council Commander precon looks like the best deal of the four right now. Amazon had it at about $48 at the time of writing, and MTGStocks shows it down by more than 25% over the last month, the biggest drop among these decks.
That makes this Simic precon, led by Galadriel, Elven-Queen, stand out as the clearest “these are a lot cheaper than they were a few weeks ago” example in the group.

And if you're thinking about getting the whole bunch, there's the Amazon Lord of the Rings Commander bundle as an option, though the bigger story here is really the individual decks becoming more affordable again.
