How to Find the Hidden Jace Emote Easter Egg on MTG Arena

The school of Hexhaven is enveloped by Jace's presence, and the entirety of Reality Fracture is centered around our hero-turned-villain and his Echoverse version of the Multiverse. The MTG Arena team is paying their respects to the end of Jace's storyline with a little Easter Egg emote you can find while playing on MTGA.

These Easter Eggs have been popping up for most new sets, and they're a fun way to add just a smidge of extra value to your account. Here's how to find the Jace emote.

Step 1: Play on the Reality Fracture Map

You can only unlock the Jace emote if you're playing on the new Reality Fracture battlefield (the field will look like an open book). This should be the default for any FRA events like Sealed or Draft. You can also do everything listed here while playing against Sparky, but you're not guaranteed to get the new map in a bot match (I conceded four times before I rolled into the Reality Fracture battlefield with Sparky).

Step 2: Locate the Five Mana Symbols

Next you'll want to find the mana symbols scattered across the battlefield. Clicking one a few times will cause a portal to open up in the upper right corner. The portal is purely visual flair, and will disappear in a couple seconds, after which the next mana symbol will appear. Do this five times, once for each mana symbol, then finish whatever game you're in.

Plains (Upper left, under opponent's name)

Island (Lower right side)

Swamp (Upper right, under settings icon)

Mountain (Upper left, right of opponent's name)

Forest (Left side, below companion)

Step 3: Check Your Inbox

Once you're done with your game, you should have a new message in your player inbox on the homescreen. Click your new message to claim your emote, which will automatically be added to your collection. You'll also have the option to equip that emote right away if you've got open emote slots.

Congrats, people now have a new emote to spam while roping players on the ladder! (Don't do this).

Need Help Finding Your Reward?

If you're having trouble finding the emote (or your other cosmetics, for that matter), simply click Profile on the homescreen, then Customization in the bottom left corner. This will display a screen where you can browse through your companions, card sleeves, avatars, emotes, and titles.

Other Easter Eggs

As far as I know, these Easter eggs aren't ever removed from the game, and there's no time limit on how long you have to unlock them. Past Easter eggs should still be available on their respective maps. Those include:

• Cabbage Companion – Avatar: The Last Airbender battlefield
• Pizza Time Emote – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles battlefield
• Fishing Emote – The Hobbit battlefield
